Exercises for FULL Body workouts!

Have you heard about: Bodylastics

Bodylastics has been the #1 alternative to expensive home gyms & health clubs since 1998. The average person cringes at the thought of spending $500 and up to buy a home gym, or join a healthclub. I think you can understand this! That is the reason Bodylastics went to the drawing board about ten years ago. What they invented was the Bodylastics System – a workout system that is designed to provide workouts that rival the best and most expensive exercise machines.

Your everyday gym membership can be as much as .95 each month, actually more most of the time. Bodylastics entry level systems start at only $45.95.  However, 90% of Bodylastics  systems sell for an average of $70, that seems to be the price point where you begin to really optimize your workouts.

This is a pretty amazing system that’s used by personal trainers, pro athletes, the US military and even S.W.A.T. teams for their training. Since 1998, the company has  sold over 240,000 units.

The BodyLastics  compact machines are the size of a pair of shoes, yet can be used for muscle building, body toning, even weight loss. You may have seen this unique product which has been featured on QVC, HSN and were an “editors pick” by Self magazine in 2002.

The most important components of the  newest systems are manufactured and assembled right here in the USA. So if you believe in “Buy American”, BodyLastics is  one of a small handful of companies that are bringing manufacturing back to the U.S. – and they are very proud of that!

We have grown our business by following a simple motto; The Customer Comes First! Most of our orders ship the same or next business day.

Choosing Home Fitness Gym Equipment

A big advantage of owning a home fitness gym is the convenience of having your own workout place at home so that you don’t have to go outside to a gym. You can work out in your own home, in private. This often appeals to people who are not comfortable exercising in the company of strangers. Make sure you take into account the points here before you buy your home gym so that you can be sure you make a wise decision.

Things to Take into Consideration

  • Is there a large enough area in your home for one? Make sure that you have enough space and a firm place for your home fitness gym to stand.
  • How much are you prepared to pay? Home fitness gyms can vary from about $500 for a small basic gym to more than $5000 for a comprehensive, multi-gym.
  • Are you going to choose a free weight system or a resistance system that uses cables, weights or rods?

Advantages and Disadvantages of Home Fitness Gyms

With a home gym you can, of course, work out in private in your own home, the gym is always available and you won’t have to wait until someone else finishes before you can do your training. Unlike a club your home gym is never shut and once paid for you won’t have regular fees to pay. These are considerable advantages but take into account the disadvantages too. Home gyms will take up quite a lot of space and may be difficult to set up. Motivation may be easier amongst other people or with a trainer in a gym and it’s easy to put off working out because you know it’s always there!

Choosing a Home Fitness Gym

The most important consideration, in our opinion, is how well made the unit is. It will do you no good if you buy a cheap, badly made gym that will fall apart soon and provide a poor workout. In the long run this will not save you money. Well constructed gyms that use 11 or 12 gauge steel are the ones to look out for. Joints that are welded rather than bolted are the best and are found in better quality gyms. You should get at least a 3 year warranty on moving parts. Some of the more expensive home gyms have lifetime warranties.

Having found a good quality gym at the right price find out how easy it will be to adjust and use. Changing the resistance can be awkward on some gyms so try to find one that makes this easier.Taking too long or being difficult to do will easily lower your motivation for working out. A home fitness gym needs to be comfortable in use with well padded benches that are easy to keep clean. This is not just for convenience but for safety, as well padded and durable handgrips and leg presses can prevent blisters and injuries.

Conclusion

If you are buying a total home gym don’t rush out and buy the first one you see. If it is possible try it out at a store or gym and find out all you can about how it works. Take your time as this is a quite large investment of your time and money and you don’t want to make a rash decision.
